Description

Our Butter-Poached Golden Oyster Mushroom Toast with Yolky Egg is a gourmet breakfast or brunch dish that combines the rich, buttery flavor of poached Golden Oyster mushrooms with toasted bread and a perfectly yolky egg. The delicate mushrooms are poached in butter with garlic, then served on toasted bread and topped with a yolky egg, creating a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. This dish is sure to impress and satisfy any gourmet food lover.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic-smashed
  • 1/2 lb Golden Oysters
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 2 Eggs
  • Fresh herbs or garnish
  • 2 thick slices of bread

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a pot then add garlic, simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Add mushrooms and throroughly coat with garlic butter, cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  3. Season with salt and pepper
  4. Toast bread
  5. Cook eggs to preference.
  6. Top toast with mushrooms and egg then garnish with choice of fresh herbs.
