Mushroom Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2lb. Gourmet Mushrooms
- ½ lb. Butter
- 3 Garlic Cloves (chopped)
- 2 ea. Shallots (chopped)
- 2 c. Heavy Cream
- 2 tbsp. Fresh Oregano
- 1 c. Brandy or Red Wine
- 1 c. Parmesan
- 12 oz. Cream Cheese
- 2 tbsp. Salt
- 1½ tsp. Black Pepper
Directions:
- Combine butter, chopped shallots, garlic, and mushrooms in a medium pot and
cook on low heat until soft and translucent. - Add brandy/wine and herbs and reduce by half.
- Add heavy cream and reduce until slightly thickened.
- Add cheeses and puree in blender
